It’s only a matter of time before Caitlin Clark gets her own signature Nike shoe, but for now, we can expect to see the rising WNBA star grace the sneaker newswire through special player edition footwear. At a recent practice, she took an opportunity to unveil her first Nike Kobe PE to the world; a black and yellow Kobe 5 Protro.

Considering the colors and model at play, sneakerheads are bound to point out similarities to the Kobe 5 Bruce Lee, one of the most iconic colorways of that Kobe Bryant signature. The bulk of the shoe comes drenched in yellow, while the heel portion lends contrast in black, fused together by way of a gradient midsole. If only by the yellow color, the shoes tie in with “Explorer Edition” Indiana Fever jerseys worn throughout the season.
