Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark continues to make her mark on WNBA history. This time, it came when the Fever traveled to Las Vegas to take on the Aces on Tuesday night.

During the fourth quarter, Clark picked up her third game of the season with 10+ points and 10+ assists after a pass to Aliyah Boston for a two-point hook shot. This matched the all-time WNBA record for most points and assists double-doubles in a rookie season, tying with former Seattle Storm star Sue Bird.

Clark continues to be a bright spot for the young Fever team. It seems that in every game, she is making some sort of history. In Indiana’s previous game against the Phoenix Mercury, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star was just one rebound away from becoming the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double.

Bird was able to record three games of 10+ points and 10+ assists during her rookie season in 2002. She went on to become a four-time WNBA champion and a 13-time WNBA All-Star.

Clark was named to the 2024 WNBA All-Star game prior to the Fever-Aces match. She and Angel Reese are the only two rookies to make the roster.
