VILLAGERS slammed Lord of the Rings star Cate Blanchett for noise made by builders working on her seaside mansion.
Neighbours say non-stop drilling and banging is making their lives hell and driving tourists away.

Cate, 54, bought the cottage by a beach with hubby Andrew Upton for £1.6million in 2020.
They demolished it and built a five-bedroom eco home with pool.
Residents in Mawgan Porth, Cornwall — dubbed Hollywood-on-Sea — say they have to dodge huge lorries delivering supplies.
A 71-year-old said: “When you open a window you hear drilling.
“It makes our lives a misery.”
Another said: “Tourism’s essential here.
“That disruption hasn’t made the owner very popular.”
Stars including Jason Statham and Jamie Dornan also live there.
