JUSTIN Bieber has infuriated fans by posting a badly-informed political message.
In the reposted image, Justin, 29, shared a square photo of a devastated city, over which was written: “Praying for Israel.”
However, while the message was in reference to the attacks on Israel, the photo showed Gaza, from where Hamas launched their attacks.
Shortly after posting the image, Justin quickly took it back down.
Before he could, however, many critics saw the post, and blasted Hailey Bieber‘s husband for his actions.
On Reddit, a critic posted a screenshot of Justin’s Story and wrote: “ does a by posting ‘praying for Israel’ using a picture of a destroyed Gaza.”
In response, one person slammed: “F**king idiot. Someone take the phones away from these morons.”
“The lack of tact is astounding,” a second replied.
“The performative activism from celebrities never ends,” agreed a third.
Another person raged: “I would expect literally nothing else from this well documented f**king idiot.”
A fifth joked: “Justin …is kinda known for not being the brightest crayon so i’m not really surprised tbh.”
“She should not allow him to play with his phone,” wrote another, referencing Hailey.
Hamas is a Palestinian Islamist militant group which rules the Gaza strip and came into being in 1987.
Hamas military commander Muhammad Al-Deif called the operation ”Al-Aqsa Storm,” and said that the assault on Israel was a response to attacks on women, the desecration of the al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem and the ongoing siege of Gaza,” CNN reported.
More than 1,100 people in Israel and Gaza have been killed since the Palestinian militant group stormed across the border on Saturday and massacred hundreds at a music festival.
