Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois will cost less than £20 worldwide on pay-per-view – marking a significant discount for American fans.

Staged at a sold-out Wembley, the showdown will see Dubois’ IBF heavyweight title on the line.

The belt was previously held by Oleksandr Usyk after he became the divison’s first undisputed champion in more than two decades after defeating Tyson Fury earlier this year.

Following his victory Usyk was stripped of the belt and Dubois’ interim title was elevated to full status, opening up the possibility for Joshua to become just the fifth man ever to become a three-time heavyweight champion.

While the clash is garnering significant attention, fans across the Atlantic have been overjoyed to find out the price of the pay-per-view.

Viewers in the US will be able to purchase the event for just $19.99, marking a significant price cut.

For comparison, Canelo Alvarez’s clash with Edgar Berlanga will set fans back $89.99.

The price reduction comes after His Excellency Turki Alalshikh introduced plans to tackle illegal streaming and make boxing more accessible by drastically reducing the price of PPVs.

Speaking to talkSPORT earlier this week he explained: ‘I dream of a PPV with a good price to make the fans happy and subscribe and get them to watch it legally.

‘Usually when I see a high PPV, a lot of people go and watch the fight illegally and this is not healthy for boxing and the platform.

‘What I will try to push is to have our Riyadh Season shows at less than £20 in England and less than $20 around the world…

‘I would prefer to have one million fans subscribe and buy the PPV for £20 than less than 500,000 [for £40].

‘The people go around it illegally because the price is high. In the future, this will not build boxing.
