[WATCH] Caitlin Clark Shocks Crowd by Joining Country Star on Stage

It seems like Caitlin Clark is enjoying her break off from basketball.

For the past nine months, the West Des Moines native has been working her butt off training, playing, and competing.

Clark began her senior season of college hoops playing for the University of Iowa in November and played all the way to the NCAA championship matchup in April.

While the team lost to South Carolina, they did end up playing the most number of games a team could play.

A week or two later Clark went out to New York for the 2024 WNBA Draft. On April 15th, she was selected first overall by the Indiana Fever.

She got a few weeks of training camp before hitting the court in May. In June, the basketball was selected to be a part of the WNBA All-Star game.

This year’s matchup saw the Olympic team go up against fan selected All-Stars. That game took place on July 20th, right before Team USA set off for the Olympic Games in Paris.

The Iowa alum has been on a break ever since. WNBA players not selected for the Olympics get a reprieve until mid-August.

She recently went on vacation to Mexico and has been making other public appearances during this time off.

Caitlin Clark Hops On Stage

On Wednesday July 31st, country star Jordan Davis made a stop in Indianapolis, Indiana. At the very end of his show, her brought out some special guests; Caitlin Clark and her teammate from the Fever, Lexie Hull.

Davis had them sing his hit track ‘Buy Dirt’ together, and the crowd absolutely LOVED it.

You could hear this packed audience freaking out when the two basketball stars took to the stage.

And they weren’t half bad! Maybe if the whole basketball thing doesn’t work out they could be country singers.

We know Clark is a big fan of Luke Combs and country music in general, so we’ll have to see if this happens more often now that she’s living in Indiana.
