Popular American rapper Cardi B has been sued for alleged copyright infringement.
Cardi B was sued by two singers from Texas and Oklahoma for allegedly using their song in her track “Enough (Miami)” without permission.
Recall that Cardi B scored top 10 hits with the release of “Enough (Miami)” in March.
According to the lawsuit documents obtained by TMZ, Miguel Aguilar, known as Kemika 1956, and Joshua Fraustro, also known as Sten Joddi, alleged that Cardi B and her producers used elements of their 2021 song “Greasy Frybread” in her track.
The plaintiffs claimed that their song was also featured as a promotional piece for the FX series “Reservation Dogs.”
The lawsuit also names Atlantic Records, Warner Music Group, and producers OG Parker and DJ SwanQo as co-defendants.
“Enough (Miami)” was released on March 15, 2024, about three years after “Greasy Frybread.”
Cardi B rejects plea deal in strip club assault
The rapper was charged in October with misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and assault in connection with an attack on two bartenders.

Rapper Cardi B rejected a plea deal Friday that offered her reduced charges and no jail time for her alleged involvement in a strip club brawl last summer.
In October, she was charged with two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of assault in connection with the attack on two bartenders at Angels Strip Club in Flushing, New York.
Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, appeared at the hearing in Queens County court Friday and turned down the deal that would have had her plead guilty to a class A misdemeanor in exchange for a conditional discharge.
The fight, which happened in August 2018, allegedly broke out because the “Bodak Yellow” singer suspected one of the bartenders was involved with her ex-husband, Offset, according to NBC New York.
The musician and her entourage are accused of assaulting the two women by throwing a drink, glass bottles and a “bucket shaped object,” according to the criminal complaint.
A victim of the brawl “sustained lacerations to her legs and feet as well as bruising to her legs as a result” of the brawl, the complaint states.
The rapper surrendered to New York City Police in October and was arraigned on the charges in December.
In a previous hearing, a judge ordered that Cardi B have no contact with the two women and issued an order of protection.
A lawyer representing Cardi B did not immediately return a call requesting comment. She’s due back in court at the end of May.
