🚨Breaking:Caitlin Clark WNBA Team Just EMBARRASSED & HUMBLED Cheryl Reeve Olympic Team‼️ | HO
What we witnessed last night was a massacre. How could the committee make such a big mistake? I’m hearing this isn’t the first time this has happened; it’s happened before. The Olympic team just couldn’t withstand the WNBA team. This was supposed to be a scrimmage, but the talent level was so one-sided. The WNBA team looked like the Avengers, and the Olympic team looked horrible. I hope they win gold, but if this is the team they’re sending to Paris, everyone is scratching their heads today.
Between Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi making excuses at the end of the game, it’s clear they weren’t prepared. The WNBA team, led by Caitlin Clark, went off. Clark, Arike Ogunbowale, and others made history against the so-called best team on the planet. This is going to go down as one of the most-watched WNBA All-Star games ever. If this is the team we’re sending to Paris, millions will be watching, and they didn’t even seem like they wanted to play anymore.
Arike Ogunbowale had 34 points, six assists, and shot 8 of 13 from three. She looked like a young Allen Iverson out there. Ogwumike was dominant in the paint with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Caitlin Clark had four points, two steals, and ten assists, setting a new WNBA All-Star game rookie record. She could have broken the record but chose to let the current record holder keep it.
We have a lot to unpack. Clark spoke to the media, and the Olympic team had to humble themselves. Let’s roll the footage and see what they had to say.
Caitlin Clark: “No, I mean, they’re really good. They have plenty of talent on that team. It was the same four years prior. Team WNBA beat Team USA, and they were perfectly fine in the Olympics. It shows how good this league is. There’s so much talent in the league, and you have to show up and prepare every single night. There are many players not here on All-Star Weekend that could be, and it just shows the amount of talent we have. They could have picked any combination of 12 players and been successful. This was a great opportunity to help prepare them for Paris, and I’m going to be supporting and cheering them on. I love the Olympics and have loved them since I was a kid. They’re going to win gold and dominate.”
