Simone Biles shuts down cruel trolls who criticized Olympics bun with four-word putdown

Simone Biles was too busy focusing on winning gold medals to deal with the haters.

The 27-year-old received negative comments on her hair while she competed during the 2024 Paris Olympics. People thought Simone had “messy” hair, but she wasn’t having it and had four words for them: “Don’t come for me.”

She took to Instagram to share a photo of herself zoomed in on her slicked-back hair in a ponytail. She defended herself with her comeback and added: “[Her hair] WAS DONE but [the] bus has NO AC & it’s like 9,0000 degrees.”

“Oh & a 45 min ride,” Simone said. The gymnast also posted a selfie of her on the bus with her hair pulled back into a ponytail and had her eyes closed.

She wore a black sleeveless shirt and a silver necklace. Simone had Airpods in and wore minimal make up made up of a nude lip and winged eyeliner. In this post wrote with a kiss emoji: “Gonna hold your hand when I say this next time you wanna comment on a black girls hair. JUST DON’T.”

But regardless of hair, Simone was able to come out on top on Tuesday. She got her eighth Olympic medal when Team USA won the gold in the Women’s Artistic Team All-Around.

The American team won with a score of 171.296 as Italy took silver and Brazil had bronze. This was considered a “redemption tour” as the team won silver in Tokyo in 2020 after gold in Rio in 2016.

Simone had trouble at the Tokyo Olympics as she suffered from “the twisties” which affects gymnasts while they’re in the air and can’t tell where they’re going to land. She pulled out from various events and took a long break from competing to take time to focus on her mental health.

After taking her time, she returned to the Olympic stage this year. Her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens, supported her at the Women’s All-Around, wearing a t-shirt that had Simone’s last name on it and various pictures of her.
