Jennifer Lopez almost didn’t wear NEAR-N₳KED revenge dress amid Ben Affleck divorce | HO

Jennifer Lopez is still soaring from the reception her new film received after it debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival on Friday night.

The actress, 55, who wore a sparkling silver nearly-naked revenge dress to the movie’s premiere amid her divorce from Ben Affleck, posted on social media Saturday she was ‘Still on a high from last night at #TIFF2024!’

‘It was such an incredible experience being surrounded by so much talent and passion for #Unstoppablemovie,’ she wrote.

In an interview with People on Saturday, the actress revealed she was hesitant about wearing the uber revealing Tamara Ralph gown with head-to-toe side slits held together by black velvet bows.

‘There was a discussion about whether I should or shouldn’t. And I was like, f**k it,’ she told the outlet.

On Saturday before she made post-screening press rounds to promote Unstoppable, Lopez shared some snaps of her ready-for-autumn style.

The hitmaker was dressed in a simple, but s3xy olive green sweater with a V-neck and a high waist faux wrap maxi skirt with pleats and a thigh high slit from Burberry.

She donned knee high boots from the brand as well.

Her hair was styled in a low ponytail and her makeup looked natural with a soft peach lip.

The Emmy nominee accessorized with sunglasses, wide hoop earrings and several bracelets. She also added a brown crocodile-style bag to the look.

Unstoppable is the emotional true story of Anthony Robles, who was born with only one leg. In spite of his disability and troubled homelife, the determined Robles went on to become an NCAA champion wrestler.

Emmy winner Jharrel Jerome, 26, stars as the determined athlete.  Lopez plays his hardworking mother Judy.

Lopez introduced the woman she portrayed at the screening, calling her ‘a woman that poured her heart, soul, and her blood, literally, into her children, teaching them that nothing is more important than family,’ according to Entertainment Weekly.

The movie has received good reviews so far.

Deadline’s Pete Hammond high high praise for Jerome’s portrayal of Roble sand said Lopez’s performance was a ‘standout.’

‘Lopez is… not often given the credit she deserves and here giving her all right from the wry opening scenes, where we see the love and pride this mother has for her son. She’s terrific,’ he claimed.

Jamie Broadnax from Black Girl Nerds said Lopez ’emotes an impressive performance as Robles’ mother, who was a formative key figure in his life.’

Johnnie Oleksinski at the New York Post called it one of  her ‘best performances in a minute,’ adding, ‘Her arc as a struggling mother of several kids is every bit as involving as Anthony’s and gets its proper due.’

The movie will open in theaters in December.

One of the producer’s on Unstoppable was Lopez’s soon-to-be-ex husband Ben Affleck, 52, who did not attend the premiere amid their high profile split.

Lopez filed for divorce August 20, the second anniversary of their second wedding ceremony, citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’
