After the Lakers crashed out of the NBA playoffs in round one, LeBron James had the opportunity to dedicate more time to his family. But still, now, there’s no sign of vacation for the James household. LeBron’s wife recently reacted to the lack of variation in life as she took to social media to make herself clear.
Recently, an Instagram account by the name of “girlswho_getit“ posted a video on their page where a woman is seen riding through the ocean on a speed boat while soaking in the sun. Savannah James shared the video on her story with the caption, “Mentally here,” showing her disappointment at not being able to go on vacation yet.
Despite the early elimination, LeBron is locked in to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics next month and preparations have already begun.
For the James family, this will be a pivotal summer as a lot of things might change very soon.
Busy Summer Ahead of LeBron James and Family
Following the Lakers’ elimination from the postseason, the immediate question that was raised was about LeBron’s future with the franchise. He kept his answer to himself and, since then, rumor mills have been spinning in a turbine motion.
Bronny James’ impending NBA Draft night is also a massive occasion for the James family, as the 20-time All-Star could have a chance to fulfill his dream of playing with his son. On Thursday, Bronny showed up at the Lakers training facility amid the rumors of the gold and purple’s reported interest in the 19-year-old.
It is not guaranteed that Bronny’s draft move will decide LeBron’s future. He has a player option in his contract and can easily opt out of the option to hit free agency. With the Sixers rumored to entertain the prospect of adding the 4-time NBA Champion with Joel Embiid, the financial aspects can be a constraint on the move materializing.
On the whole, the scenario regarding LeBron’s future is yet to have clarity and can only be properly examined once the Olympic Games conclude.
