Naomi Campbell and Law Roach spark speculation they’re shading Rihanna as they seemingly criticize her busty NYFW dress – after runway show snub

Naomi Campbell and her pal Law Roach sparked speculation they were shading Rihanna in a new video – after the singer seemingly ignored the duo at NYFW. 

Last week, Rihanna appeared to ignore them as she arrived to the Alaïa show during New York Fashion Week – where she greeted British Vogue editor Edward Enninful but walked past Campbell, 54, and Roach, 46, who were seated next to the editor.

In video posted by Roach, the duo were dressed in the same outfits they wore to the Alaïa show as they seemingly criticized the busty crystal gown Rihanna wore to the event.

The duo joined in on ‘demure’ trend in the video which began with Roach saying, ‘We don’t go to the shows like the other girls. We don’t come with out tatas out or our chi-chis out. Very demure.’

Campbell then chimed in saying, ‘very mindful.’

The two began to ping-pong off each other saying, ‘Very cutesy.’

‘Don’t give too much,’ Naomi said.

‘Just give a little,’ Roach said.

In what seemed to be her best Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour impression, Campbell said, ‘It’s not about showing yourself, it’s about showing the clothes.’

‘Very demure,’ said Roach.

‘Very Cutesy,’ added the cover model said.

‘Very mindful,’ said Roach. ‘Very mindful,’ echoed Campbell.

Explaining the clip, Roach wrote in the caption, ‘Just touched down in London Town GB. Can’t wait to be demure with my favorite Icon @naomi.’

The pushback against the two was fast and furious.

‘Not the 2 desperately waiting for acknowledgment from the billionaire when she walked by. We saw the video.. pls,’ added another.

‘If this is what it seems to be…you are too old for this,’ admonished South African TV personality K Naomi Phakathi.

Campbell responded to the video with three hearts, and her comment received more than 1,700 likes.

The video seemed to be in reaction to Rihanna appearing to ignore her former pal during an awkward New York Fashion Week encounter September 6 in another viral video

This isn’t the first time the pair have locked horns. In 2014 at the British Fashion Awards Naomi was filmed clutching onto Rihanna and uttering something to her – before the popstar glared coldly back at her.

Naomi then appeared to say sorry and hung her head – with baffled fans believing Naomi had asked Rihanna ‘are you high?’ and the clip going viral.

Rihanna and Naomi have been pictured together numerous times over the years – with the catwalker planting a kiss on the Fenty icon’s Fenty Puma runway show during New York Fashion Week in 2016.

But in 2017 it was claimed Rihanna’s romance with Naomi’s ex Hassan Jameel is what caused the pair’s alleged feud.

The pushback was fast and furious among commenters on Law’s Instagram page. This commenter criticized them for trying to ‘shame another Black Woman,’ adding it was ‘Very tacky, very sad, and very gross’

Another follower accused the two of being desperate

Campbell’s response was one of the only positive remarks about the video, but it did receive more than 1,700 likes

The Sun reported that the supermodel, who is thought to have dated the Saudi businessman in 2016, was disgruntled the singer and Hassan fell so hard for each other – as she hates feeling ‘second best’.

Rihanna and Jameel were together for several years before going their separate ways a few years later.

The Fenty Beauty founder started dating fellow singer A$AP Rocky in 2019, and the two have since welcomed sons RZA, two, and Riot, 13 months.

Campbell has become a single mom to a daughter, three, and a son, about 14 months. She has most recently been romantically linked to a  35-year-old German DJ who goes by Rampa.
