Dak Prescott has been photographed in a walking boot following rumors of an injury.
For all of his postseason disappointments, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback has been one of the most consistent players at his position. However, he has yet to land a deal heading into the most crucial season of his career.
It’s now suspected that an injury might have created a hindrance, with professional bettor Steve Fezzik claiming the quarterback isn’t completely healthy ahead of training camp, causing folks to bet against the Cowboys.
“News is, he’s not 100 percent, and they’ve been betting against the Cowboys the last three days,” Fezzik said on ‘The Ross Tucker Podcast’ (H/T Marca).
“There’s rumors that he had an MRI. That’s unconfirmed, but that’s the rumors that I’m hearing.”
The three-time Pro Bowler has since been spotted wearing a walking boot while on holiday in Los Cabos, Mexico. You can check it out in the photo below:
There’s no information on what the injury might be, but fans reckon it’s just a twisted ankle.
The Cowboys may have a legitimate concern over Dak Prescott’s health, and it could be the reason they’ve been hesitant to offer him a new deal, though one could argue there are no such issues with CeeDee Lamb, who has still not been extended.
The former Mississippi State standout could become the first QB to earn $60 million a year, but Jerry Jones is taking his time.
Could it be because the team isn’t in a hurry to make that kind of commitment to a hobbled player?
