Caitlin Clark had a telling reaction to Team USA’s women’s basketball squad winning gold at the Summer Olympics in Paris, France without her.

That is to say, she had no reaction. Clark has yet to post on Twitter or Instagram regarding Team USA’s 67-66 win over France on the final day of the Summer Olympics.

While other members of the WNBA world congratulated Diana Taurasi, A’ja Wilson and others on winning gold against France on Sunday, Clark was noticeably quiet on social media. While Clark said she has no ill will toward Team USA for snubbing her this year, perhaps there’s something to her lack of a reaction.

“They’re really good. They have plenty of talent on that team. Four years prior I’m pretty sure Team WNBA beat Team USA, [and] they were perfectly fine in the Olympics,” Clark said after the WNBA All-Star Game last month.

“If anything, it shows how good this league is. It shows how much talent is in this league and how you have to show up and prepare every single night. There’s a lot of players that aren’t even here tonight that could be here too. It just shows the amount of talent we have.”

Team USA could’ve used Clark on Sunday. The Americans struggled from the 3-point line and with ball security. Clark surely could’ve helped in both areas.

We should be seeing Clark – along with Angel Reese – on Team USA for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

Until then, she’ll look to dominate in the WNBA.
