Caitlin Clark has undoubtedly become one of the most popular athletes in the world. The star guard for the Indiana Fever is breaking WNBA records and boosting TV ratings nearly every time she steps on the hardwood.

Clark returned from the WNBA’s break with a vengeance, dropping 29 points in a win against the Phoenix Mercury. She followed up that performance with 23 points in a victory over the Seattle Storm.

Sports fans aren’t the only ones noticing Clark’s heroics on the court. Legendary actress Jamie Lee Curtis recently praised the No. 1 pick.

While doing press for “Freakier Friday,” Curtis revealed that she’d love to be Clark for a day.

“I want to be Caitlin Clark for a day,” the Academy Award winner said. “I want to play basketball like Caitlin Clark.”

Curtis added that Clark wears her lucky number. That’s yet another reason why she loves the sharpshooter from Iowa.

We’d have to imagine that other people would love to be Clark for a day. After all, they’d get to experience what it’s like to have elite range from beyond the arc.

The Fever are hoping to make the playoffs this season for the first time since 2016. If Clark continues to play at an MVP level, they’ll have no trouble pulling that off.

Clark is averaging 17.8 points, 8.3 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game this season. She’ll return to action this weekend against the Minnesota Lynx.
