Once again, Caitlin Clark turned heads after a tremendous performance in the Indiana Fever’s 110-109 win over the Dallas Wings on Sunday, September 15. The 22-year-old broke another WNBA record, this time setting a new mark for the most points by a rookie in a single season (761 and counting).

As expected, Clark took social media by storm yet again after another historic performance, which came after the rookie sensation dropped a career-high 35 points on 12-of-21 shooting, to go along with six triples, two rebounds, eight assists and three steals.

ESPNW was one of the outlets that congratulated Clark, and they sent a special shoutout for the Fever star after another incredible outing.

The post garnered thousands of likes and comments, with one, in particular, from WNBA legend Lisa Leslie standing out. The Hall of Fame center has long been a fan of Clark, and she took this opportunity to clap back at Caitlin’s haters.

She just couldn’t help herself. The three-time WNBA MVP just had to have her “I told you so” moment as she called out anyone and everyone who ever doubted Caitlin Clark.

After everything she’s done in her brief tenure as a professional, it’s hard to deny that Clark has proven that she is, indeed, the real deal. Anyone who still has doubts about this young lady better take it up with Lisa Leslie.
