Cardi B is not happy with Joe Budden after his recent comments about her. On his show, Budden suggested that Cardi would never release her album, despite her promises to fans that it would be out soon, possibly this year.

This infuriated Cardi because she feels Budden is always criticizing her, not genuinely interested in her music but looking for something to criticize. She took to Twitter Spaces (or X) and went on a rant, calling him a liar, claiming he has no inside knowledge of her dealings with Atlantic Records, and telling him to keep her name out of his mouth.

Cardi clarified that she has a small, close-knit team and only communicates with a few key people at Atlantic Records. She named her main contacts and asserted that Budden’s claims of having sources were false. She accused him of comparing her unfavorably to other artists, both new and established, and constantly trying to tear her down rather than offer any constructive criticism or support.

In her rant, Cardi passionately defended herself, emphasizing that Budden’s interest in her album is not genuine. Instead, she believes he is eager to criticize her work as soon as it is released. She called him out for his consistent negativity towards her music and personal life, recounting a time when he accused her of using personal issues for publicity.

Cardi concluded by inviting Budden to attend her studio sessions if he was genuinely interested in her album, reiterating that his desire to hear her work was not out of appreciation but a need to find fault. She expressed her frustration over his persistent criticism and implored him to leave her alone, noting that his actions seem driven by a personal vendetta rather than any professional critique.
