Cardi B has filed for divorce from her husband Offset.
A source told them the split has nothing to do with any cheating rumors. Rather, it’s been a long time coming and “They’re just disconnected from each other.”
Their insider shared that they tried to work on the marriage this year and was “not an overnight decision.” They shared that the separation is amicable and Cardi B is asking for primary custody of their two children, daughter Kulture, 5, and son, Wave, 2.
Another insider told Page Six, “They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do.”
The ex-couple originally got married back in 2017, but she filed for divorce in 2020 due to cheating allegations, which she eventually withdrew. Cardi said she was single again back in December, but they were then photographed together on Valentine’s Day 2024, prompting reconciliation rumors.
