The expecting 31-year-old – who boasts 280M social media followers – tweeted on Sunday: ‘I’m so happy y’all know I’m [pregnant] now [so] I can stop wearing those [damn] schoolgirl skirts lmaoooooo!’
Indeed, Cardi (born Belcalis Almánzar) did use a tiny Birkin bag and a grey schoolgirl skirt to shield her bump in an Instagram slideshow from May 31.
It was bittersweet considering the half-Dominican, half-Trinidadian star filed for divorce (for the second time) from rapper Offset last Wednesday, her rep confirmed to Page Six.

The Bronx native wants primary physical custody of her two children – six-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus and two-year-old son Wave Set Cephus – with the 32-year-old Migos alum (born Kiari Kendrell Cephus).

Cardi – who gets 30.8M monthly listeners on Spotify – has yet to release the sophomore follow-up to her 2018 debut studio album Invasion of Privacy.
