Henry Cavill eats days’ worth of food in twenty-four hours to maintain his Greek God-like physique, starting off with a hearty and heavy breakfast.

If the topic of discussion is the physique of Hollywood actors who can give Greek Gods a run for their money, there is no way you can leave Henry Cavill out of the conversation. Whether it’s Man of Steel or The Witcher, the actor has proven time and again that he does not mess around when it comes to his appearance, and honestly, who is complaining?

However, to maintain a massive physique like his, he must pay a ton of attention to his diet, which he does. While he has his cheat days every now and then, his usual muscle-building diet plan involves everything from scrambled eggs to bison steak. And while we ordinary people might call it a day after having a sandwich for breakfast, Henry Cavill prefers going all out for his first meal of the day.

Henry Cavill stands tall at above 6ft and possesses the body of a beast. In order to maintain his appearance, the actor doesn’t hold back when it comes to his muscle-building diet.

As per Men’s Health, Cavill begins his day by taking a huge dose of protein in the form of scrambled eggs, steak, and an oatmeal protein shake. He ends his breakfast with a glass of Rosemary water, specifically from the brand No1. Rosemary Water.

In order to make himself hungry enough to devour the hearty breakfast, Cavill jumps on the Nordic Trainer for some fasted cardio which goes on for thirty minutes. The actor once told MH, “Out of all the things I’ve done in the past, I think the fasted cardio stuff is actually working best for me.” According to Cavill, it helps keep him in the best shape of his life.

After half an hour of intense cardio, Cavill is ready to dig into the delicious and nutritious meal awaiting him. His protein shake helps him refill muscle glycogen and the eggs/steak repair his body all while keeping him energetic and satisfied until it’s time for lunch.

While a breakfast like his should keep one full for a long, long time, Cavill is just built different. Literally. I mean, have you seen the guy?

Coming back to his diet, Cavill’s lunch is divided into two parts. For his first lunch of the day, the Enola Holmes actor savors chicken curry with jasmine rice and a side of apple to satisfy his sweet tooth.

For the second lunch, Cavill again has chicken but in the roasted form this time, along with roast potatoes and curry sauce. Clearly, the guy doesn’t mess around when it comes to his protein intake.

You might think that Cavill would take it easy on dinner but a bison steak with brown rice pasta can hardly be considered as ‘taking it easy.’ Bison steak may be a calculated decision on Cavill’s part as according to MH, it is high in protein but much lower in calories as compared to other meat.

He ends his day with a glass of protein shake which he insists “tastes way better than it looks.”

With a diet that sounds as delicious as his, one might not even have to worry about getting cheat days. However, Cavill has days where he just doesn’t want to follow his diet plan.

Speaking to MH, the actor said,

My perspective has changed somewhat on the things that I want from life and the enjoyment I can get from it. I think I’m kind of finding my pace now in more of a lifestyle thing. Like, I can do this training and it’ll make me look a certain way. I’ll make sure my food is right, but I don’t feel like I’m on a diet all the time. I can have three cheat days in a row if I want – and then knuckle down, be good for a while and get back to a certain point. You know where your baseline is.

So, there you have it. This is more or less the diet plan you would have to follow if you want to bulk up like Cavill. Of course, his workout regimen is a whole different topic to unbox. Just don’t miss out on your protein!
