Sean Strickland Reveals Nightmares Of Living In ‘Communist’ America- “F**king Sucks”
Sean Strickland
Sean Strickland is a name that echoes in the mind of fight fans when they hear the word ‘controversy.’ Remaining true to this, the former UFC middleweight champion has taken aim at not any opponent or celebrity but the United States of America! His latest comments, however, have raised eyebrows even among his most ardent supporters.
In a recent tweet, Strickland shared a surprising fear: going to prison. But it’s not just the idea of incarceration that haunts him. The outspoken fighter claims he has nightmares about it. The reason for this, according to Strickland, is because America is a “communist country.”
“Question my girl said “You worry about going to jail often, that isn’t normal for most people” Do you guys have a fear of going to prison??!!! I have nightmares of it lol. Yes because just f**king sucks, and we live in a communist country with a million f**king laws,” wrote Strickland via X.
The land of the free, home of the brave, is apparently communist. At least, that’s how Strickland sees it. It’s a bold claim from a man who’s never shy about sharing his opinions. It’s worth noting that Strickland has been behind bars before. Perhaps this experience fuels his current anxieties.
Sean Strickland calls Mark Zuckerberg a ‘Dirty Communist’; Open To Train His Rival
A weird twist blended the worlds of tech, social media, and mixed martial arts, UFC middleweight Strickland made headlines in June 2023 with an unexpected offer. The outspoken fighter volunteered to train none other than Elon Musk for a potential cage fight against Mark Zuckerberg.
This strange saga began when Musk casually challenged Zuckerberg to a cage fight. The challenge came in response to Meta developing a Twitter-like platform called Threads. To everyone’s surprise, Zuckerberg accepted. Sean Strickland is never one to shy away from controversy or a chance to share his opinions.
“Man f*ck Mark Zuckerberg.. Dirty communist…. No one wants your goggles and your disinformation censorship but…. Facebook market gets a pass…. @elonmusk come to Vegas. We will put in work!” wrote Strickland via X.
The whole affair had a surreal quality. The idea of two billionaires settling their differences in a cage seemed like something out of a bizarre dream or a satirical movie plot. However, the fight never materialized, and Strickland’s dream of training the enemy of his arch-nemesis remained unfulfilled.
