55-year-old Jennifer Lopez delighted her fans by sharing photos of her 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max. J.Lo, who is currently at the center of rumors about a breakup with Ben Affleck, posted the sweet images on social media, accompanied by a heartfelt message.

“They are my heart,” Lopez wrote beneath the touching family photo.

In the first image, Jennifer, dressed in a mint-green dress, stands next to her son Max, who is now noticeably taller than her. Fans couldn’t help but comment on how much the young man has grown.

“How did they grow up so quickly?” wondered one fan.

“Max is already your height, Jen. I remember that video where they talked about who was taller!” wrote another.

In the second photo, Jennifer was with her daughter Emme, who looked stylish in a casual plaid shirt and headphones around her neck. Mother and daughter posed against a park backdrop with a fountain. The third photo was from the star’s personal archive, showing her children when they were about 5 years old. The last time Jennifer shared photos of her twins was in February this year during their trip to Japan for their birthday: the children wanted to explore Japanese culture up close.

“They wanted to go to Japan,” Jennifer explained, noting that the idea for the birthday trip came from Max. “I love my kids; they are so smart, sweet, and beautiful.”

She openly admitted that the teenage years have been challenging for them.
