Caitlin Clark Makes History with WNBA’s Big Announcement
Caitlin Clark’s latest achievement didn’t just make WNBA history; it made NBA history too
Caitlin Clark has put together an incredibly strong rookie campaign in the WNBA with the Indiana Fever, but ever since returning from the All-Star break, she’s taken her game to another level.
Clark’s strong play hasn’t been overlooked across the league, as she has won three straight Player of the Week honors. Clark again made WNBA history with this accomplishment, but she also made NBA history too, as no rookie in either the WNBA or NBA had ever been Player of the Week for three straight weeks until now.

Clark has helped revolutionize women’s basketball over the past couple of years, but it’s pretty telling that she is accomplishing things that have never been done in the NBA’s lengthy history.
And given the tear she has been on recently, it wouldn’t necessarily be a surprise if Clark keeps on putting up big numbers over the final few games of the regular season to win the honor again.
Simply put, Clark has been on another level for the Fever as of late, and she will look to keep on dominating when she takes the court against the Las Vegas Aces on Wednesday night.
