Rap star Cardi B feels she’s been “lucky” with her friendships. Cardi B has never really had “any bad friends”. The 31-year-old rap star has revealed via social media that she’s been “lucky” with her friendships throughout her life.

The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker made the claim after she shared a photo of one of her friends touching her growing baby bump.

In response, one of her X followers wrote: “This is a beautiful picture @iamcardib . You have to really #trust and #genuinely care about someone to allow them to touch you and your child this way. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you post and label pictures of #real #friends. Sometimes you need them so it’s good to have a few. (sic)”

Cardi subsequently admitted that she feels “fortunate” to have so many good friends.

The rap star – who worked as a stripper before finding success in the music business – wrote on X: “I’m fortunate to say I never really had and have any bad friends …From high school friends , to my stripper friends to my adulthood friends …I feel really lucky bout that. [heart emojis] (sic)”

Cardi – who already has Wave, two, and Kulture, six, with rapper Offset – announced her latest pregnancy earlier this month.

The chart-topping star – who recently filed for a divorce from Offset – took to Instagram to share the news with her followers.

She wrote on the photo-sharing platform at the time: “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through! (sic)”
