‘I feel like there is probably a really good payday for Mike’: Mike Tyson’s staggering purse for Jake Paul fight ‘LEAKED’ by UFC legend | HO

A UFC legend has leaked the amount of money Mike Tyson will earn for fighting Jake Paul.

Originally, the pair were meant to fight at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20.

However, it was confirmed in June that the fight had been postponed indefinitely.

Later that month, it was revealed that Tyson vs Paul will go ahead on November 15 and it will be streamed live on Netflix.

In a statement, Co-Founder of Most Valuable Promotions Nakisa Bidarian said: “Our team has worked diligently with all parties involved to reschedule this monumental fight to a date that ensures both Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are fully prepared, with equal training time, as well as allowing us to keep the event at AT&T stadium in the midst of the Cowboys season.

“We appreciate the outstanding dedication, collaboration, and flexibility of our partners at Netflix and AT&T Stadium. Paul vs. Tyson is the most cross generational sporting event in history, and we are committed to providing fans worldwide with this unforgettable night of boxing, live globally on Netflix. We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday, November 15 for a showdown that will be talked about for generations to come.”

Speaking earlier in the year, UFC star Henry Cejudo claimed that Tyson will receive $20 million for fighting Paul.

During an appearance on his podcast with Kamaru Usman, Cejudo said: “I mean, you know what I respect, Uncle Mike… But it obviously takes two to tango.

“I feel like there is probably a really good payday for Mike. He’s probably going to wind up making close to about 20 mil, and he’s about to turn 58 years old.”

Meanwhile, ex-UFC champion Daniel Cormier said that Paul is in a ‘no-win situation’ against Tyson.

“It might ruin you if he just beats on Mike Tyson. He’s in a no-win situation,” he explained.

“I don’t know that he thought this one through as much as he probably should have been, because if you just go out there and you just beat the sh*t outta Mike Tyson. Everybody’s gonna be really mad at you. I mean, really mad.”

Mike Tyson had the coldest response when asked if Michael Jordan is the GOAT

Mike Tyson had the coldest response when asked if Michael Jordan is the GOAT

Jordan is one of the greatest sportspeople of all-time – but does ‘Iron Mike’ think he’s the greatest?

Mike Tyson gave a cold response when asked if NBA legend Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all-time.

Jordan won six NBA championships between 1991 and 1998 across two separate spells with the Chicago Bulls.

He initially retired in 1993 to pursue a career in Major League Baseball (MLB), but was coaxed back to the NBA and continued to add to his incredible legacy.

With 14 NBA All-Star awards to his name, as well as being named as the seasonal MVP on five occasions, many regard Jordan as the greatest basketball player of all-time.

When it comes to other sports, of course, there is some considerable competition. Whether that be Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in football, Tiger Woods in golf or Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer in tennis, many can lay claim to being the greatest sportsperson of all-time.

Another man who could throw his hat into that ring is Tyson.

And ‘Iron Mike’ firmly agreed that Jordan should be awarded the accolade of the greatest basketball player to ever live – by giving a brilliant answer.

“The wholeness and the determination,” he told Club Random with Bill Maher. “The willingness to sacrifice. You only do that [being the greatest] by sacrifice.

“Only sacrificing can make you the best in the world. Nothing else. You have to sacrifice.”

MJ has spoken in the past about what he had to overcome to become the greatest NBA player of all-time – and gave advice to any young player attempting to emulate him.

“If you’re trying to achieve, there will be roadblocks,” he admitted. “I’ve had them, everybody has had them.

“But obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, work around it.

On a separate occasion, Jordan said: “My attitude is that if you push me towards something that you think is a weakness, then I will turn that perceived weakness into a strength.”
