In a resurfaced interview, Henry Cavill is thrown off guard when confronted by an interviewer who reveals a slightly awkward piece of information.

The interview shows a younger Cavill promoting his first Zack Snyder-helmed Superman movie Man of Steel while at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con.

Despite being confronted with an awkward moment, fans of the actor applauded him in a resurfaced video of the encounter for how he responded.

“You’ve made it very difficult for me at home with my wife,” the interviewer opens with before Cavill pulls a hilarious facial expression in fear of what he’s about to say next.

“She keeps seeing the [Man of Steel] trailer man and she’s like, ‘You need to get in that kind of shape.’” the interviewer added.

“So, I’m hating you right now but I’m loving the movie.”

Although the moment initially surprises Cavill, he quickly dives into a brief motivational speech for the interviewer to perhaps consider getting into “that kind of shape.”

“Go for it though,” Cavill told the interviewer.

“Do it! Do it! Get on the bandwagon, it’s fun,” he added.

The interviewer responds with: “Oh man, but it looks hard.”

To which Cavill replied: “Yeah, it is hard.”

“But once you get going… oh, there’s nothing more rewarding,” he added.

“There really isn’t.”

“I’m going to hold you to that,” the interviewer jokingly responds.

Cavill ends the interview by telling him that he would “love it” if he got into a similar shape as DC’s iconic superhero, the Man of Steel aka Superman.

“Update on the interviewer,” one joked in the comment section of the resurfaced video.

“The steroids help too,” one implied.

“Henry is very cool. Nice man, beautiful on the inside as well as the outside,” another added.
