Coach Mendez posted a video on Instagram showing ‘The Eagle’ and Cain Velasquez watching the famous title fight between Velasquez and Brock Lesnar. Before ‘Brock Solid’ joined the UFC, he was already a household name, thanks to his previous WWE fame.

Nurmagomedov shared that the fight was absolutely big in Russia. Adding to that he stated, the 29-0 fighter shared a story when he was using a Nokia phone with limited memory. Consequently, to watch the Lesnar vs. Velasquez fight, Nurmagoemdov deleted everything on his phone just to make room for it because he was so passionate about UFC.

He said he watched the fight not just once but at least 100-200 times. It was a huge fight that gave Lesnar his second career loss while adding an iconic win to Velasquez’s record. Indeed, it shattered millions of hearts as their favorite, Lesnar, suffered another loss. However, after that, he won both times he fought.

Will Brock Lesnar Ever Return To The UFC?

Where Lesnar has been is a question for both UFC and WWE fans. He took a hiatus following the Vince McMahon controversy. However, there was speculation that he might return at UFC 300 in April, but that news turned out to be just a rumor.

UFC fans were thrilled at the thought of seeing one of the superstars who put the UFC on the global map return. However, when Dana White was asked about it, he denied the possibility and expressed doubt that fans would see Lesnar fight in the octagon again. So, to answer the question, Lesnar’s future in the UFC appears to have ended after his fight against Mark Hunt.
