“Ain’t Gonna Fight” – Conor McGregor Faces Extreme Backlash For Recent Business Promotion While UFC Return Remains Unofficial
Conor McGregor
Ever since withdrawing from UFC 303, Conor McGregor’s return to the octagon seems in the shadows. Although he confirmed that he would come back later this year, his recent public appearances and social media posts convey a different story.
Recently, he shared a post on his X handle promoting his beer business called the Forged Irish Stout. However, that post wasn’t taken well by the fans. One of them even went to the extent that he was sure the ‘Notorious’ would never fight again. The comment read:
“Bro let’s be real. You ain’t gon fight nun nomore”
In the post, McGregor was seen drinking his Forged Irish Stout in the BKFC ring, a promotion that he is a part owner of. Fans rallied into the comments, claiming that the ‘Notorious’ was way past his MMA career. Here are some of the top reactions:
Recently, McGregor confirmed his return scheduled sometime later this year. Although he did hint fighting Michael Chandler in his comeback match, there’s no official announcement on the same.
Will Conor McGregor Make A UFC Return?
With his recent association with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, the ‘Notorious’ making a return to the UFC seems questionable. However, recently, he opened up about fighting again later this year.
In an ESPN MMA interview, McGregor said, “My comeback is scheduled for the year, sometime the end of this year, closing out the show. So, I was close to returning, we had an incident and had a postponement had to happen and, you know, it is what it is. We take it on the chin, we rock on. The fight is rescheduled for the end of this calendar year, so I’m excited about that and eager to get back.”
Conor McGregor’s return is surely a thing that would excite millions of MMA fans. However, will he actually make a comeback? That’s a million-dollar question!
