Hold onto your hats, country music fans, because Jason Aldean is back at the CMT Music Awards! Remember that whole controversy with his “Try That In A Small Town” video last year? Yeah, CMT wasn’t too happy about it and pulled it from their rotation.
But guess what? Aldean didn’t let that stop him. He returned to the CMT stage with a performance of his latest single, “Let Your Boys Be Country.
” It’s all about embracing that rural lifestyle and letting kids be kids, you know, playing outside and getting a little dirty.The music video for the song shows Aldean and his son, Memphis, having a blast outdoors. It’s a sweet reminder of the simple things in life, far away from all the craziness going on in the world. And even though the video didn’t win Video of the Year, it definitely struck a chord with a lot of folks.
This was Aldean’s ninth time performing at the CMT Awards, so you know he’s a pro. He pre-taped the performance a few days before the show, but it still had that live energy that gets you pumped up. He definitely showed everyone that he’s still got it and that his music continues to resonate with fans.
