In any sport, fans love superstars showing their elite play when leading their team to wins. If two of them happen to be rivals, that too in the same division/conference, all the better for the fans. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes define the current QB rivalry in the NFL.

So far, the Kansas City Chiefs star is having his way in the playoffs. But the Buffalo Bills star has a new secret to gain the edge when time comes. The 28-year-old was speaking with former NFL star Chris Long on his podcast, Green Light with Chris Long.

This offseason I approached it a little bit differently. OTAs had a chef cooking all good things. I travelled a lot….trying to be strict on what I’m eating and what I’m putting into my body. And I don’t know if I should say this but there’s a secret trick. I’m just downing a few Zyn. Citrus is pretty dang good.

Josh Allen saidChris Long was ecstatic that he found another Zyn user in Allen. After talking flavors, he whipped out two boxes of Zyn and placed them on the table. Zyn are nicotine pouches which are used to replace the use of tobacco.

Some say using Zyn keeps the mind sharp. The results of which are not clinically confirmed. Suggesting that Josh Allen is using whatever he can to keep him sharp before the regular season starts.

Josh Allen has slimmed down and is eating right, thanks to the new chef for preparing a special diet for him. It is all in the hopes of doing his best when the time comes to surpass Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Most importantly, in the playoffs.

Josh Allen and Bills will welcome Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs in November

Doing well in the playoffs means the Buffalo Bills have to beat the Kansas City Chiefs. That is almost inevitable when it comes to the AFC. Josh Allen has a fair idea about Patrick Mahomes, but the rest of his retooled team will get their first taste of the much-improved Chiefs on November 17th. Just before their bye.

The Chiefs are back-to-back Super Bowl champions and have improved their team across most of the departments. On the other hand, the Bills had an offseason to forget when a sleuth of star players were cut to manage the cap space. The current squad is devoid of stars, but that does not mean they won’t play well.

The Chiefs will be their 11th game of the season. Giving the squad enough time to develop and find their own identity. If by then they manage to become a solid playoff contender, the rivalry will end up exciting fans. Allen will then come to know if using Zyn’s has had an impact or not
