Chris Brown and Nia Guzman ‘agree to co-parent Royalty as they bury the hatchet for their daughter’s sake’
One month after reaching an agreement over custody of their daughter, Chris Brown and Nia Guzman have committed to co-parenting the one-year-old.
The R&B star, 26, and his baby mama have put their feuding over each other’s parenting skills to one side, TMZ reported Monday, in the best interests of the little girl.
The pair have decided that each of them should be equally hands on in raising Royalty.

Quoting ‘sources connected to Chris and Nia,’ TMZ said the parents decided that they will take Royalty to activities such as swimming, gymnastics and dance class together.
They’re also on the same page as regards the pre-school their daughter should attend and that both of them should be involved in her education.
The breakout of friendship between the two marks a turning point in their dealings with each other since it was revealed in March that Nia, 31, had given birth to the F.A.M.E. hitmaker’s child.

The news that he was a father to a nine-month-old girl broke up his relationship with model Karrueche Tran.
Chris, however, embraced his new role as a dad and moved Nia and Royalty to Los Angeles from Houston where they’d been living so he could see more of his daughter.
In August, he announced his new album will be titled Royalty and he unveiled the cover art that shows him shirtless and holding his baby girl tightly to his chest in a loving embrace.
He also regularly posts sweet photos of the little girl on his social media accounts.
At the end of September, it was reported that the singer and the former model had resolved their legal battle with each agreeing to joint physical and legal custody of Royalty.

As part of the settlement Chris will have her 12 days a month and pay Guzman $2,500 a month and the child’s legal name will be Royalty Brown.
In addition to the monthly payments, the Loyal performer will be financially responsible for paying for the child’s schooling, nannies, health insurance and medical bills.
Although Nia had previously requested a court to order that her daughter’s visits with her father should be supervised, that will not be required even though Chris’ court ordered drug test came back positive for weed and codeine.
According to TMZ, the singer had prescriptions for both.
