Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker hopes Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce ‘get married and start a family’

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker sees a wedding and babies in his teammate Travis Kelce’s future with Taylor Swift.

“I hope they get married and start a family,” Butker, 28, told EWTN News in Depth Friday while gushing over the “humble” and “gracious” pop star.

Butker recalled meeting Swift, 34, after beating the Cincinnati Bengals on New Year’s Eve.

“She thinks that’s amazing that I can kick the ball so far through the uprights,” he said. “It was a great experience, and I can’t say enough great things about her.”

After acknowledging that he never considered himself a Swiftie, Butker backtracked.

The pop star has been attending Chiefs games since September 2023.

“I was a little nervous to meet Taylor Swift. I mean, it’s Taylor Swift,” he explained. “So maybe I am a Swiftie if I was nervous to meet her.”

Butker has been married to Isabelle Butker, with whom he shares a son and daughter, since 2018.

Swift, for her part, confirmed her relationship with Kelce, also 34, in December 2023, three months after she made headlines for attending his games.

The Grammy winner broke her silence in a Time magazine profile, gushing about how “proud” she was of the athlete’s career accomplishments.

She attended the Super Bowl in February.

After Travis’ team won the Super Bowl in February, he praised the “Cruel Summer” singer’s beer-chugging skills on air, calling her a “pro.”

The “Catching Kelce” alum subsequently accompanied his partner on the Australia and Singapore stops of her Eras Tour, but TH reported that the duo are now “nesting” in their rare time off.

“They’re focused on rest and recuperation and relaxing at home and having low-key and chill time together,” a source told the magazine Friday.
