However, a new report has come to light that states Perry is riding the Swiftie bandwagon to revive her dying career. Being in the same headline as Swift will mean a lot for a singer who desperately needs a jolt of energy to pump her career back to life.

Moreover, Perry seems to be planning an exit from the reality show American Idol and getting back to touring and doing concerts while releasing new albums.

She always remained aloof about her relationship with Perry since the latter used underhanded means to stay connected and then vanish without a trace. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Swift expressed,

“And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational—you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So, now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”

Swift wrote the song Bad Blood reportedly about Perry and how the singers’ feud affected their individual careers. After a few years of public comments and a visible vendetta, the two reconciled and have since been on good terms.
