Child, the streets are saying that now that the marriage between Da Brat and Judy (Jessica Dupart) is falling apart, she might as well let us in on her dark and evil past and why she decided to leave Judy’s big behind. But does Da Brat really want to speak on anyone’s past, given her own nasty history?
It was so quick that it just happened. The bottle… it just… it just landed on top of my head before I could react. I mean, I was just standing there, relaxed and open.
I’m going to need y’all to get seated and grab some popcorn because this is one hot, stinking mess, okay? Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably seen the rumors floating around claiming that Da Brat and Judy are headed for a divorce. Allegedly, Da Brat also wants full custody of their son, and for her to get full custody, she may have to prove that the child would be better off with her than with Judy. And that’s where Judy’s diabolical, evil ways come in.
Don’t ignore me. It’s bad enough that my child can’t even get a “Hey, Li’l James, how are you? How are things going?” All he got were lies, like “I’m going to take you here for your birthday” – never happened. “I’m going to take you here just because” – never happened. Everything y’all saw my child get, that’s all he got. Everything y’all saw him receive, if you didn’t see it, he didn’t get it.
Y’all, I don’t know why so many scandals with Judy involve kids, but in one of her scandals, Judy was dragged through the mud for doing Li’l James dirty.
We want to be done with that contract, the contract that everyone thought we signed, that supposedly changed our lives, and… no, that wasn’t the case.
For those who remember, Li’l James went viral when he was around 6 or 7 for being hilarious, and Judy reached out to his family, as she’s done with many children before, to ride their coattails and promote her products. Apparently, when things didn’t go her way, she turned on Li’l James and told him he wasn’t funny. Sources even said that she had this boy believing he was a failure. Based on how his mom spoke about the situation, Judy was pure evil.
To make things worse, she locked Li’l James into some contract that siphoned the money he made back to her. On top of that, Li’l James’ mom also talked about the contract situation, and it was even worse than what was already out there.
Don’t forget she told me to quit my job so I could work at her warehouse. Oh yeah, sis was shipping out products to make a little change for her son, because what Judy was giving wasn’t enough. So, yeah, it was…
It was, “Yeah, I get half, you get the other half ‘cause we’re business partners.” But once business partners moved on, she told me she wouldn’t leave me there by myself. It’s like, girl, I don’t have time for you. Like, I’m just going to get this job done. The only job we had was to do four posts for $1,500 a month and learn how to work TikTok.
Allegedly, apart from the situation with Li’l James, another thing Da Brat is shedding light on is how a child drowned in Judy’s pool. And while it may have been an accident, what people found disturbing was how Judy tried to frustrate the child’s mother and threw her former assistant and ex-best friend Shaya Solich under the bus. There was even a lawsuit filed by the mother for wrongful death, and it clearly shows how Judy blamed Shaya entirely for the tragedy.
For a bit of background, in the summer of 2018, Judy offered Shaya a job with Kaleidoscope and asked her to move to New Orleans. She described her as her assistant, but Shaya didn’t have a specific job title and wasn’t limited to getting coffee. She provided event coordination services, helped arrange flights and hotel accommodations, and managed Kaleidoscope’s operations by paying bills and handling invoices. Shaya even provided input on marketing strategies and performed a range of various duties whenever needed.
According to the lawsuit, the four-year-old child of Bovie and Kia Joan Juliet Walker drowned in Judy’s pool on September 5, 2019, and on August 5, 2020, Judy was sued for wrongful death and survival damages resulting from Andy’s death. What happened was that on that fateful day, Andy’s mom arrived at Judy’s Lake View house in New Orleans to do her makeup. Shaya was working with Judy at the time and had previously contacted Kia Walker to schedule Judy’s makeup session. Shaya answered the door when she arrived.
Apparently, the Lake View home had a backyard with a swimming pool that didn’t have a security fence or covering. When Kia went into the house with Andy, she proceeded to a bedroom where Judy was working with a personal stylist. Kia began setting up for the makeup session, and Andy asked if she could see the pool. According to the lawsuit, Judy said she would accompany Andy to the pool once her mom finished her makeup. But before her makeup was done, Judy told Shaya to take Andy to the pool while she finished getting ready.
At some point, after leaving with Shaya, Andy returned to the bedroom quickly, but soon after, she left again. Kia assumed Shaya was still watching Andy, but 10-15 minutes later, Shaya returned without Andy. Kia then rushed to the pool and tragically found Andy had drowned.
