Jake Paul has told Mike Perry directly that he wants to see him fight KSI next. This suggestion came after Paul recently defeated Perry in their boxing match, setting up Paul’s next bout against heavyweight legend Mike Tyson on November 15.

Perry, now considering his options post-defeat, has been ‘fired’ by Conor McGregor from the bare-knuckle boxing promotion BKFC and is looking at potential opportunities in traditional boxing.

During an appearance on Paul’s podcast, the two discussed their futures, and Paul proposed that Perry should face KSI. Perry responded enthusiastically, expressing his readiness for the challenge, “Let’s do it.”

Perry acknowledged the need for some preparation, stating, “I’m game, but I think I need a little bit of training, so I could train with you a little bit for that.” Paul then offered to help Perry prepare for the fight, saying, “Let’s go train with me. I’ll train you to f*** me up.”

Perry admitted that he needs to make some adjustments for boxing, particularly noting the differences between bare-knuckle and traditional boxing. He mentioned, “I think for boxing I need to make some tweaks, I need some time and six weeks for my rib. I need time to utilise the space and time in the ring that needs to change, and time to implement that.”

A potential fight between Perry and KSI would likely attract significant attention, especially given that both would be mutual opponents for the YouTube rivals. Paul believes Perry would be a tough opponent for KSI, stating, “I really don’t think he’d take that though. You are too tough for him.”

KSI is currently scheduled for a planned 2 vs 1 match against Slim Albaher and Anthony Taylor on August 31, although this fight is uncertain. While a showdown with Paul remains a popular topic, negotiations have stalled, with both teams failing to communicate effectively.

KSI’s manager, Mams Taylor, expressed doubts about the fight ever happening, suggesting that Paul’s team is reluctant to proceed. He told talkSPORT, “I genuinely with all my heart believe they don’t want the KSI fight. Because I think KSI exposes Jake. I can tell you this, KSI would be Jake Paul’s kryptonite and there is no way Jake Paul beats him. I really don’t believe that fight happens, it will not be all on their terms.”
