Henry Cavill is no stranger to building gaming PCs, the Man of Steel and Witcher actor is an avid PC gamer and even almost lost his role as Superman in Man of Steel because he was busy playing World of Warcraft.

Cavill built his own gaming PC back in July, but now “Geralt of Rivia” has decided to upgrade his rig with NVIDIA’s new top-of-the-line GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card. He shared the news on his personal Instagram account.

His status reads: “My Christmas break is getting closer than ever and I have a couple of projects to work on. The second one is definitely the Christmas tree….”.

Currently, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 is priced at approximately $1,500. This is not a small number for the majority of gamers, but for a Hollywood actor like Henry Cavill, it is not a problem.

When the news of Henry Cavill’s injury during filming was announced on news sites, the world’s gaming community had a theory that he pretended to be injured to have free time to play Cyberpunk 2077 – which is also a product of CDPR, the developer of the Witcher series.

Although it is still unknown whether this hypothesis is true or not, the fact that he suddenly upgraded his PC has made the gaming community more sympathetic to this hypothesis.
