Brad Pitt refutes Angelina Jolie’s claims he was abusive before 2016 plane incident in winery war

Jolie’s latest court filing asserts her refusal to sign Brad Pitt’s ‘expansive’ NDA ruined winery sale

The legal battle between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt over their French winery, Château Miraval, continues to heat up.

On Thursday, the Oscar-winning actress’ legal team filed a motion seeking “highly relevant” documents and “evidence” that they claim will prove the “Once Upon A Time … in Hollywood” star refused to purchase Jolie’s share of the winery unless she agreed to sign an “expansive” NDA that would “hide his history of abuse, control, and coverup.”

“While Pitt’s history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the family’s September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well.

Jolie then immediately left him,” Jolie’s attorneys claim in court documents obtained by Fox News Digital. “Jolie never pressed charges as she believed the best course was for Pitt to accept responsibility and help the family recover from the post-traumatic stress he caused.”

In response, Pitt’s attorneys filed a motion on Friday asking Jolie to disclose any other NDAs she entered into with third parties, including her own personal staff.

Los Angeles – In the midst of an escalating legal dispute over their shared French winery, Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie find themselves embroiled in another contentious issue. Pitt has vehemently denied Jolie’s recent claims that he was abusive towards her before the well-publicized 2016 plane incident.

The former spouses, who split in 2016 after two years of marriage and over a decade together, are currently at odds over ownership rights and management responsibilities for their shared vineyard, Miraval, located in the south of France.

Jolie, 47, made headlines earlier this month when court documents revealed her allegations of Pitt’s abusive behavior towards her and their children, citing incidents that allegedly occurred prior to the couple’s separation.

Pitt, 59, has now responded to these allegations through his legal representatives, categorically refuting Jolie’s claims. In a statement issued to the media, Pitt’s legal team declared, “Mr. Pitt denies these allegations vehemently. He has always prioritized the well-being and safety of his children and categorically denies any abusive behavior towards his family.”

The statement further emphasized Pitt’s commitment to resolving the winery dispute amicably, focusing on the best interests of their children and the future of their joint business ventures.

This latest development adds another layer of complexity to the ongoing legal battle between the two A-list stars. The winery, Miraval, has become a significant asset for both parties, not only as a business but also as a symbol of their shared history and joint investments.

While the public awaits further details from the court proceedings, the case continues to attract intense media scrutiny. Both Pitt and Jolie remain influential figures in the entertainment industry, and their personal and professional endeavors continue to captivate audiences worldwide.

As the legal battle rages on, questions remain about the impact of these allegations on the public perception of both actors. With conflicting narratives emerging, only time will tell how this high-profile dispute will unfold and what it means for the future of Miraval and the once-beloved Hollywood couple’s legacy.
