Recently, Taylor Swift was spotted sporting a gold pendant necklace that has a deep and personal significance for the singer.

The 34-year-old hitmaker of Bad Blood made headlines last week when she visited Electric Lady Studios in New York City while wearing the jewelry.

The necklace is from the Mambacita x ZC capsule collection, which was released back in March 2022 and was designed by Kobe Bryant’s widow, Vanessa Bryant. The small-scale partnership was with Zoe Chicco Fine Jewelry, an L.A.-based business.

The piece, which is gold-chained, includes a tiny, circular pendant with the famous words “Bet on yourself” by the late basketball player etched on the front.

Shortly after Swift’s appearance, Vanessa published a story about the star wearing the necklace on Instagram Stories, giving the Grammy winner a heartfelt shout-out.

She added an emoji in the shape of a blue heart with the words “We Love You Taylor” printed in the center.

100% of the sales from the limited edition collection, which was also mentioned in the most recent post, were donated to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation.

According to the official website, the foundation is “dedicated to creating a positive impact for undeserved athletes and boys & girls in sports.”

Additionally, Kobe and Gianna “Gigi” Bryant’s vision and loving remembrance served as the foundation’s founding inspiration.

Taylor and the Bryant family have a long history of strong relationship, and Kobe famously accompanied the Love Story singer on stage during her 1989 World Tour back in 2015. He, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and six other people perished in a helicopter crash in January 2020 at the age of 41.

Vanessa had shared a TikTok video last year that was first uploaded by ESPN and showed Kobe walking in front of the applauding audience to give Swift a special banner.

‘Kobe Bryant presented Taylor Swift her ‘championship’ banner for most sold-out gigs at Staples Center in 2015,’ was written in text inserted near the top of the video.

The performer had previously taken to Twitter, also known as X, to thank the sports star for coming on stage with her.
